Schattendrake

Finally, I can feel my artist side awakening in me again. So I've been drawing like crazy. If any one would like to send me a challenge or two, I would be very appreciative. I need something hard to do while I still have the ability like I do. Feel free to comment either on my profile or on this journal entry. So anyway, I'm hoping you all are doing well. After coming back from vacation I noticed my artistic side opened up again. Every time something like this happens I find I have reached a new level of artistic ability. I got Photoshop the other day and now I find I can color my art more easily. I will always have a special spot in my heart for Pencil drawings because they came first. During vacation I found out just how much my grandfather was still with me. I would go through places and think about what would happen if my Ope was around. (Ope is German for grandfather.) I know he would be proud of my new art abilities. I still miss him and his death still makes art very hard to do. But I h

Okay. So I am at my grandparent's house where my grandfather passed away last summer dealing with the grief. It's been pretty hard recently because I wanted him to be here when I left for college, I wanted him around to talk about my history. I never knew how much he meant until I lost everything from him. It sucks now to wake up and feel like he still here, but then I run around the house and find it's just my mind trying to get him back. My grandmother threw out the Swiss coo-coo clock, i never knew how much I loved that thing until I couldn't take it home any more. Don't ever take your family for granted, someday they won't be there.
